ariana grande is following fluff, why aren't you?

Fluff is an artist who displays her work through Instagram. A lot of her illustrations are beautiful replicas of pop princess, Ariana Grande.

When did you start drawing and making these incredible illustrations?

Drawing was something I did since I was little, maybe around 6-7 since i was shy and didn't have too many friends, but I really got into digital art around age 13 seeing my oldest brother do it.

I can see Ariana Grande is your muse, what was your reaction when she recognised your work and followed you?

I pretty much panicked. She's seen some of my old works back in 2013 on twitter, but the recognition on Instagram felt greater, since she liked it and followed me and has left me compliments on my page or through DMs. It's very motivating to me, as she's someone who's affected my personal life unknowingly and it's refreshing and nice to see an artist really appreciate a fan's work.

You've recently created a new Instagram account, @fluffsketches, what will you be exploring with?

Love sketching, it helps improve your overall art so now that I have a sketch account I'm going to get a bit more risky with my art and that starts at sketches. Hoping to share my process by what it looks like in the beginning to my finished product and hopefully have a page that allows people to just colour stuff for fun and practice. Something I wish people did more often when I started out.

Are there any artists you look up to?

None specific, they kinda flip flop a lot. But I think I can categorize that Walt Disney is an inspiration. The classics like TLK, Lady & the Tramp, Cinderella and etc.

What's the most difficult part in the process of creating these pieces?

Colouring and shading, I have set styles for everything (almost) but have yet to stylize everything to match and flow with one another. And picking the right colours is very hard.

You create cartoons and chibis, which do you prefer?

I love chibi's but they do limit you a lot but they're too cute but I definitely like cartoons. I just play it safe a lot and do chibi's since I'm better at them.

Finally, what's your favourite type of cake?

I'm basic, but I love chocolate.
